PM Modi Arrives in Amsterdam, Signals Stronger India–EU Trade and Investment Ties

New Delhi / Amsterdam : Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Amsterdam, beginning his visit to the Netherlands at a time when the India–EU Free Trade Agreement has provided fresh momentum to trade and investment relations between the two sides.

The visit is expected to further deepen bilateral engagement in key strategic and emerging sectors such as semiconductors, water management, clean energy and other areas of technological cooperation.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will hold bilateral talks with Dutch Prime Minister Shri Rob Jetten and will also call on Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands.

He is also scheduled to address a community programme on the morning of May 16, where he will interact with the Indian diaspora and highlight the strengthening ties between India and the Netherlands.
